York University is a suburban campus (but right on the subway line), and the hotels listed above are in the downtown core of Toronto. Some participants might want the option of staying downtown, if they plan on going out in the evening, etc. It’s very easy to get to the university from the hotels – only one subway ride, which ends at York University Station right on campus.

In the case of the Courtyard Marriot, it takes about 35-40 minutes or so. To see the TTC subway system, go here: https://ttc.ca/Subway/interactive_map/interactive_map.jsp# . The Courtyard Marriot is a short walk from College Subway Station (https://goo.gl/maps/G8txA8x6Gwu) . You would go south, around the Union loop, and then continue north to the York University Subway station.

The Doubletree Hilton is a short walk from St. Patrick Subway Station (https://goo.gl/maps/PEWT8NE91Mu). You would just need to take the University line north to the York University Subway Station.
